MANIN, CARLO and LEONARDO

The Manin Counts granted for free their family house (Villa Manin), located in Passariano, as collecting point location for the works of art coming from the Friulian and Istrian areas from October 14, 1939. At the end of October 1943, the authorities decided to ensure the protection of works of art by returning as many objects as possible to their owners and moving the remaining artworks to two secret storages in San Daniele, to ensure their protection.
