RUSCONI, ANTONINO (Trieste, 1897 - Trieste, 1975)


Superintendent of Monuments and Galleries of Trento, Architect


Antonino Rusconi was hired as an Architect at the Fine Arts Office of Trento in 1924. From 1941 until June 1944, he held the position of Superintendent of Monuments and Galleries of Trento, taking the place of Giuseppe Gerola. In 1944, as a delegate of the Ministry of National Education, he was directly responsible, with Giovanni Battista Brusin, for the eventual transfer of artworks of Friuli to a safe place.
